About Me

My name is Connie Morgenroth and I live in Texas.  I started this blog in November 2013 because I enjoy writing, especially poetry.  I also enjoy writing about whatever is going on in my life at the moment, so my topics can vary a lot. Since I am a Christian, many of my writings reflect my faith. I also enjoy writing about the everyday occurrences in life that are funny or heartwarming. I have found that although we are all very different, we share many of the same experiences.

I have been married for 31 years to my husband, Jeff. We have two sons, and a daughter-in-law, and our first grandchild is due in April.

In addition to being a wife and mother, I work full-time as an administrator for one of the best school districts in the state.

In my spare time, when I am not writing or spending time with my family, I enjoy reading, cooking and following politics. I also enjoy red wine and have recently begun to study more about it…..how it’s made, the vineyards, the regions that produce the best wines, etc.

I want to thank you for stopping by blog. My prayer for each of you reading this is found in Romans 15:13: May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

    • Oh my gosh….I have a comment! I feel like Julie in the movie “Julie and Julia”. And you’re not my mom, so it counts! (no offense Mom)…Thank you Stephanie! I adore you too!

  1. Absolute perfection, Connie! I saw that segment on Ellen and was rolling on the floor laughing because it “hit home”. Looking forward to following your blog.
